While attempting to free a kidnapped family, Marshal Travis Brewer's lead deputy is gunned down by the cornered stagecoach robbers. The sole survivor of the hostages is fifteen year-old Bud Cotton. The rustlers are still on the loose, but after the leaders of the gang decide to take up some bank robbing, Marshal Brewer takes to their trail. He and Bud will stop at nothing to make sure the gang end up dead or behind bars.
