Is space antimatter?
In Topology a twisted loop or ring (moebius band? ...) has a twist number which is the number of twists it has. Topologically the infinite space it is in contains the opposite or a balancing twist. Thus, the space twist plus the coil twist is zero. One way to think about it is to imagine a 2 foot long 2-inch-wide paper band. Begin twisting the band in the middle while the ends stay in place. Then the 1-foot part of the band to the right will the opposite twist to the one foot band on the left. Cut the band in the middle and tape the two bands together. One is right twisted, and one is left twisted by the same amount.
If we assume that matter has a basic twist, then is the infinite space around it antimatter? I ask this because it would solve the matter-antimatter question. If mirror matter exists it is true antimatter but has no way of interacting with matter. Thus, it would not solve the matter-antimatter problem (where is the missing antimatter?). Instead, when the first twisted matter particles formed then infinite space contained the anti-twist, which spreads out at the speed of light, or at the speed of inflation thus creating particle matter and space antimatter in a quick big bang.
These ideas seem too simplistic, yet math uses the idea of space being the complement of whatever is embedded in it. We could imagine that as space spreads out between galaxies it carries concentrated filaments of anti-twist which has mass is the dark matter.

Natures uses natural technology development.
Many of our technologies (and many we have yet to develop) have been around for millions of years: Insects and birds can fly. Bees use math to dance out a message to a new hive base or to nectar. Beavers build dams. Green leaves collect solar light energy (photons) and store it. Eyes use photons to see. Brains have complex control circuits. The list is practically endless.
Nature is ‘intelligent’ and technological by means of evolutionary self-organization. Aliens may exist that have a technological and scientific system of progress like ours. Nature also does it naturally at all scales from galaxy organization, solar systems, and untold worlds with biological evolution. This being the case it seems that tool-based technology is not really required by nature. We have been built by nature. Nature builds technology without tools everywhere in the universe. Nature uses whatever survives and evolves. In this way everything is ‘alive’, atoms, rocks, wind, planets, stars, galaxies, …
We should not get too proud of our control over nature as things can go badly at any time. But at the same time we have much to look forward to if we continue to survive and thrive.
